Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts was born in Atlanta on October 28, 1967 in the home of Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. Her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer, was one of the first Roberts to move to Atlanta. Her father was a young man when he was interested in theatre. When he was a student at Emory University he appeared in various productions both at and off the campus. He joined the Air Force in 1953. During his time being stationed at Biloxi Mississippi was cast in a military production that included Betty Lou Bredemus who was also in the Air force. The couple got married in 2005 and welcomed their first child, Eric Anthony in 1956. Walter was studying at Tulane University, New Orleans Louisiana. In 1957, the couple quit the Air Force and Walter began his studies at Tulane. Walter was recruited to work for Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio to assist on the stage of the show Bum Bum and His Buddies in Decatur Georgia. Walter as well as Betty Lou financed their own production of a Sunday morning children's show, Bum Bum and His Buddies. They founded an Actors and Writers Workshop in the same year, which was in operation for a period of about six years. In 1965, they welcomed two children to the family: Lelisa Billingsley and Julia Billingsley.
