The actress moved out of North Carolina to Los Angeles when she was a young girl with her mother. She began her career as an actor at the young age of nine. Carol Lynley (born Carole Ann Jones, February 13, 1942 - September 3 2019,) was an American actress. She is best known for her role in the films Blue Denim (1959), The Poseidon Adventure (1872), and The Poseidon Adventure (1972). Lynley was raised in Manhattan by an Irish mother and New England father. Her first job was as a child model prior to taking up acting.
