Lisa Edelstein, an American actor best recognized for her role in House, a Fox medical drama series. After being raised by conservative Jews in Wayne, New York City was where she set her sights to study theater at Tisch. Soon, she was a part of the club scene in New York and was soon becoming the talk of the town. The press also noticed her. She then used her background and fame, and her own experience to create and present a program called Positive Me. Awake on the Wild Side was her next job. When the show was over the show, she began appearing on films and television productions initially in smaller roles, and slowly established herself as an actor.
