Carol Lynley
Carol Lynley (born Carole Ann Jones, February 13, 1942 - September 3 2019,) was an American actress. She is best known for her role in the films Blue Denim (1959), The Poseidon Adventure (1872), and The Poseidon Adventure (1972). Lynley was raised in Manhattan by an Irish mother and New England father. Her first job was as a child model prior to taking up acting. She was nominated for the Theatre World Award for "one of most promising personalities 1956-57" for her performance in The Potting Shed. Lynley began her film career in the year 1958 with The Light in the Forest, a Disney film The Light in the Forest, following by Holiday for Lovers (1959) and Blue Denim (1959). In her movie The Light in the Forest Lynley was nominated in 1959 for the Golden Globe Award. She was nominated to the Golden Globe Award again for Most Promising Youngcomer - Female in the year following in the film Blue Denim.
